Melbourne man told to 'eat more meat' discovers cancerous tumour the size of a mandarin

Constant feelings of exhaustion and a paler complexion were two things Melbourne man Adam Cubito, 36, put down to being overworked and stuck inside during the city's 112-day coronavirus lockdown.

But after being advised to "eat more meat" and boost his iron levels, Cubito learnt in January that his condition was an aggressive form of bowel cancer, hosted in a tumour the size of a mandarin.
